Every kitchen extraction system should be cleaned annually as a minimum with insurance approved regulation in accordance with TR19. A certificate of cleanliness is issued on completion, heavily used kitchens may need cleaning on a more regular basis.
A Neglected extraction system is potentially expensive to remedy.
An extraction system which is uncleaned is a huge fire hazard, collected fat and grease can combust and cause damage to your property or even destroy your business! This build up can cause your extraction system to perform inefficiently or even breakdown.
It is important to get your extraction system cleaned and serviced at least once a year.
